O referido artigo propõe apresentar uma reflexão diante da contribuição de uma didática crítica intercultural e decolonial para a construção de novas formas de se viver em sociedade. Baseando na teoria de Vera Candau, o texto busca evidenciar a importância de uma educação que valorize a diversidade cultural, com ênfase na promoção da equidade racial, além dos desafios encontrados tanto nas questões estruturais da educação, tanto nas forças que buscam uma internacionalização e padronização de práticas pedagógicas. Para a exposição dessas (...) ideias, foi feita a análise de partes do Projeto Político Pedagógico (PPP) da Escola Afro-Brasileira Maria Felipa, localizada na cidade de Salvador, Bahia, cuja a intencionalidade da proposta pedagógica tem como intuito, desde sua concepção, em ser uma escola afro-brasileira. A escola possui um currículo voltado para a redução das desigualdades raciais, assim como na valorização e promoção da cultura preta e afro-brasileira. O texto ressalta ainda, a importância de práticas pedagógicas interculturais e decoloniais que celebrem as múltiplas identidades e culturas como maneira a se sonhar com futuros possíveis, assim com o papel crucial da formação continuada de professores, para que estes se sintam aptos e seguros para incluírem a diversidade como parte fundamental de uma educação transformadora. Pulmonary rehabilitation has demonstrated patients’ physiological and psychosocial improvements, symptoms reduction and health-economic benefits whilst enhances the ability of the whole family to adjust to illness. However, PR remains highly inaccessible due to lack of awareness of its benefits, poor referral and availability mostly in hospitals. Novel models of PR delivery are needed to enhance its implementation while maintaining cost-efficiency. We aim to implement an innovative community-based PR programme and assess its cost-benefit. A 12-week community-based PR will be implemented in (...) primary healthcare centres where programmes are not available. Healthcare professionals will be trained. 73 patients with CRD and their caregivers will compose the experimental group. The control group will include dyads age- and disease-matched willing to collaborate in data collection but not in PR. Patients/family-centred outcomes will be dyspnoea, fatigue, cough and sputum, impact of the disease, emotional state, number of exacerbations, healthcare utilisation, health-related quality of life and family adaptability/cohesion. Other clinical outcomes will be peripheral and respiratory muscle strength, muscle thickness and cross sectional area, exercise capacity, balance and physical activity. Data will be collected at baseline, at 12 weeks, at 3- and 6-months post-PR. Changes in the outcome measures will be compared between groups, after multivariate adjustment for possible confounders, and effect sizes will be calculated. A cost-benefit analysis will be conducted. This study will enhance patients access to PR, by training healthcare professionals in the local primary healthcare centres to conduct such programmes and actively involving caregivers. The cost-benefit analysis of this intervention will provide an evidence-based insight into the economic benefit of community-based PR in chronic respiratory diseases. No dia 15 de Julho de 1570 o recém-eleito Provincial do Brasil, Inácio de Azevedo, trinta e sete companheiros e um candidato à Companhia foram martirizados às mãos dum grupo de huguenotes no mar em frente à Ilha de Palma, Canárias. No dia seguinte foi martirizado o irmão Simão Costa. Estes quarenta mártires (32 portugueses e 8 castelhanos) são normalmente designados como os Mártires do Brasil, pois dirigiam-se à missão do Brasil. Uma bula de 21 de Setembro de 1742 (...) por Bento XIV reconheceu o martírio dos quarenta religiosos, tendo Pio IX procedido à sua beatificação em 11 de Maio de 1854. Esta expedição comandada por Inácio de Azevedo foi simultaneamente a expedição missionária mais numerosa que partiu de Lisboa para as missões extra-europeias e o martírio colectivo mais numeroso de jesuítas em toda a Época Moderna. O mesmo episódio teve um importante significado hagiográfico, pois reunia simbolicamente a Europa dividida pelas lutas religiosas e as missões extra-europeias. A importância deste episódio deriva ademais do facto de estar ligado à difusão do culto da Madona di San Luca, um dos principais cultos jesuítas na Época Moderna. (shrink)

This article investigates the predictors of coping willingness among citizens exposed to coastal flooding. We focus especially on how place identity, perceived self-efficacy, anxiety-state and coastal flooding risk perception shape both active and passive coping willingness. Data were obtained from different areas at risk of coastal flooding located in France. The sample is composed of 315 adult participants (mean age = 47; SD = 15). We observe a direct relation between risk perception and active coping willingness. The model did not (...) confirm our expectations that a higher perceived self-efficacy would increase active coping willingness. Concerning passive coping strategies, the model reflects our expectations that a higher anxiety-state increases passive coping willingness, and that place identity acts as a mediator and reinforce the relation between anxiety-state and passive coping willingness. To our knowledge this is an unprecedented model that suggests the importance of anxiety-state and place identity in the study of coastal risks. Moreover, it suggests that place identity is reinforced when the living place is threatened and encourages the willingness to use passive coping strategies. Model fit indices suggest the good fit of our model and Bayesian model comparison reveals a very strong evidence of the better fit of this model compared to its saturated and independent equivalents. Partindo da leitura da da Ética III buscaremos reconstruir a teoria da afetividade postulada pelo filósofo para demonstrar como a noção de conatus opera ao mesmo tempo como perseveração na existência e afirmação do desejo. O passo posterior será projetar uma unidade entre o existir e o desejar como a base para o correto entendimento da concepção de liberdade desenvolvida por Spinoza (...) na parte V de sua Ética. Ecumenical logic aims to peacefully join classical and intuitionistic logic systems, allowing for reasoning about both classical and intuitionistic statements. This paper presents a semantic tableau for propositional ecumenical logic and proves its soundness and completeness concerning Ecumenical Kripke models. We introduce the Ecumenical Propositional Tableau ( $$E_T$$ ) and demonstrate its effectiveness in handling mixed statements.

The purpose of this article is to investigate the first reception of Nietzsche’s philosophy in Brazil, which happened at Escola de Recife (Recife’s School). For this purpose, at first, by using a historical-philosophical approach, the article analyzes the formation of the intellectual movement within the Pernambuco faculty, whose goals included to build a national identity which could detach itself from the European predominance. Then, the article analyzes the first explicit quotation by Tobias Barreto in 1876, which came amid this moment (...) of sociocultural effervescence and would become the motto for the future students, conceiving a more creative and combative philosophy. Finally, the article investigates Germanist scholar members who, besides bringing German studies to the Pernambuco faculty, also believed that these could provide Brazil with cultural enhancement through the Germanism. Through analyses of articles published by different newspapers (season) São Carlos/SP try to understand the different representative constructions made by the local press in trying to build an entire sphere in favor of the trial and conviction of all accused to make part of the “Gang Mangano”. As a powerful vehicle of communication to the press, at that time, sought to protect socalled “good men” of (...) the time, which in general were those individuals who were part of the local elite. In this sense, choosing to cut a discourse around the concept of social/collective representations tried to prolematize this concept with the media and crime issues in an attempt to discern the main argumentative construction and training of social imaginary collective. Neste artigo apresentamos o debate em torno da educação nos primórdios do século XX no Brasil, quando ocorreu um profícuo debate sobre o papel educacional na sociedade, tendo de um lado a Igreja Católica e a defesa do ensino religioso nas escolas públicas e, em outra posição, os educadores vinculados ao escolanovismo e à defesa da laicidade. Apontaremos as principais teses que nortearam essa contenda, enfatizando as divergências entre esses dois grupos. O objetivo deste trabalho, portanto, é apresentar brevemente um (...) histórico referente à separação entre Estado e Igreja Católica após a proclamação da República, bem como elucidar a rearticulação dessa instituição destacando as contradições entre a Igreja e os educadores vinculados à Educação Nova. Entendemos que a questão da laicidade foi importante nesse processo, contribuindo para o acirramento das diferenças entre Igreja e os defensores do Estado laico. No campo do conhecimento, historiadores, sociólogos, cientistas políticos, filósofos e religiosos vêm debruçando-se acerca desse tema, apresentando estudos, análises e considerações tanto na defesa, bem como com críticas à introdução do ensino religioso nas escolas públicas brasileiras. O objetivo de Wittgenstein, quando desenvolveu o conceito de ‘jogos de linguagem’ (na obra Investigações Filosóficas), era a solução, ou melhor, a dissolução dos problemas filosóficos através do esclarecimento do funcionamento da linguagem. O objetivo do presente ensaio se determina a apresentar o contexto filosófico no qual Wittgenstein desenvolveu seu conceito. A temática se justifica, uma vez que, os argumentos de Wittgenstein, na elaboração de sua concepção de significado como uso da linguagem, foram fomentados pelo referido contexto. Desse modo, mostraremos (...) que o contexto envolve, por um lado, uma imagem essencialista da linguagem, que se estabelece enquanto estrutura de pensamento, da qual derivam inúmeras teorias filosóficas. E, por outro lado, envolve o conceito de ostensão, empregado como fundamento daquela imagem de linguagem. Diante de tal cenário, e contraposto a ele, Wittgenstein demonstra os pontos falhos da imagem essencialista da linguagem, e o caráter arbitrário da ostensão que faz do seu emprego, como fundamento linguístico, uma fonte de equívocos filosóficos. A crítica, de Wittgenstein, conduz ao abandono de muitos elementos essencialistas da linguagem. No entanto, não vê, na arbitrariedade da ostensão, um motivo para justificar seu abandono. Antes, vê uma premissa para argumentar que, longe de ser o fundamento da linguagem, a ostensão funciona apenas como mais uma regra gramatical. Por fim, concluiremos que uma melhor compreensão, sobre o funcionamento da linguagem, pode ser alcançada quando deixamos de olhar para ela sob o prisma da imagem essencialista da linguagem e, por conseguinte, quando empregamos a ostensão como uma regra gramatical. This work is a generalization of the López-Ruiz, Mancini, and Calbet (LMC) and Shiner, Davison, and Landsberg (SDL) complexity measures, considering that the state of a system or process is represented by a continuous temporal series of a dynamical variable. As the two complexity measures are based on the calculation of informational entropy, an equivalent information source is defined by using partitions of the dynamical variable range. During the time intervals, the information associated with the measured dynamical variable is the (...) seed to calculate instantaneous LMC and SDL measures. Our understanding of the nature and processing of figurative language is central to several important issues in cognitive science, including the relationship of language and thought, how we process language, and how we comprehend abstract meaning. Over the past fifteen years, traditional approaches to these issues have been challenged by experimental psychologists, linguists, and other cognitive scientists interested in the structures of the mind and the processes that operate on them. In Figurative Language and Thought, internationally recognized experts in the (...) field of figurative language, Albert Katz, Mark Turner, Raymond W. Gibbs Jr., and Cristina Cacciari, provide a coherent and focused debate on the subject. :Recent behavioral economics studies have shown that third parties compensate players in Dictator, Ultimatum, and Trust games. However, there are almost no studies about what drives third parties to compensate victims in such games. It can be argued that compensation is a form of helping; and helping behavior, in a variety of forms, has been widely researched, especially with regard to motivators. Previous work on helping behavior has focused on empathic concern as a primary driver. In sharp contrast, anger is (...) often seen as an antisocial motivator resulting in aggression. However, other research has shown that moral outrage, anger evoked by the violation of a moral rule or a social norm, can lead to the punishment of a perpetrator, often described as altruistic or pro-social punishment. Some of the motivations for pro-social punishment, namely a concern for justice or the restoration of community values, can also be realized through victim compensation. We therefore propose the hypothesis that moral outrage leads to compensating behavior above and beyond what is predicted by empathic concern, but only when a social norm has been violated. We test this hypothesis in two studies, both of which use modified trust games in which the investor experiences a loss due either to a social norm violation or some other cause. Study 1 shows that trait moral outrage predicts third-party compensatory behavior above and beyond empathic concern, but only when a social norm is violated. To better understand the causal mechanism, Study 2 directly manipulated moral outrage, showing again that moral outrage leads to compensation, but only when a social norm is violated. An empirical study indicates how close advertisers from all the continents have been from the natural law and other fundamental moral principles. In their professional activities, many advertisers assumed the philosophical relativism as the framework for fundamental concepts. The ethical problems have not been equated with objectivity and the realist approach is appointed as a solution.

This article provides a brief overview of the efforts to develop and refine the Critical thinking Assessment Test and its potential for improving the design of classroom assessments. The CAT instrument was designed to help faculty understand their students’ strengths and weaknesses using a short answer essay format. The instrument assesses a broad collection of critical thinking skills that transcend most disciplines. The questions were deliberately designed around real-world scenarios that did not require specialized knowledge from any particular discipline. Various (...) faculty who collaborated in the national dissemination of the CAT instrument found that it was a helpful model for designing better course assessments to grade student work. Classroom assessments modeled on the CAT emphasize more critical thinking within the discipline and less rote retention of factual information. We describe the ongoing work to help faculty successfully adapt the CAT to applications that can be used in each discipline’s courses to evaluate and encourage students’ critical thinking. (shrink)

We propose another positive illusion – overconfidence in the generalisability of one's theory – that fits with McKay & Dennett's (M&D's) criteria for adaptive misbeliefs. This illusion is pervasive in adult reasoning but we focus on its prevalence in children's developing theories. It is a strongly held conviction arising from normal functioning of the doxastic system that confers adaptive advantage on the individual.

Belief in souls is only one component of supernatural thinking in which individuals infer the presence of invisible mechanisms that explain events as paranormal rather than natural. We believe it is important to place greater emphasis on the prevalence of supernatural beliefs across other domains, if only to counter simplistic divisions between rationality and irrationality recently aligned with the contentious science/religion debate.

Hannah Arendt identifica no pensamento de Platão aquilo que ela designa como “Tirania da Verdade”, ao mesmo tempo em que nos mostra de que modo essa “tirania” se fundamenta a partir de uma cisão entre filosofia e política. Essa cisão causa uma progressiva degradação da política que deixa de ser o espaço do próprio exercício da liberdade para ser meramente aquilo que garante a existência de liberdades individuais e que preserva a reprodução da vida. Ademais, ao ser apartada da liberdade (...) e da própria atividade do pensamento e do diálogo, a política se apropria do uso da força e a esfera política passa a ser a esfera da coerção. A política degradada, portanto, é aquela que perdeu o seu sentido, ou seja, que não proporciona espaço público para a discussão e compartilhamento de um mundo em comum. A degradação atinge seu ápice quando a pergunta “Qual é o sentido da política?” é suplantada por “Tem a política algum sentido?”. Em nosso artigo, buscamos mostrar o percurso argumentativo da filósofa que se inicia com o exame da “tirania da verdade” e da cisão entre filosofia e política até a consequente perda do próprio sentido da política. O presente texto procura colocar em diálogo reflexões do campo da Filosofia da Infância com os da Educação Infantil. Além das contribuições teóricas pretende fazer conexões com situações observadas em uma pesquisa de doutorado na qual as relações com o espaço e o tempo são entrelaçadas com as do corpo como experiência que surgem nas relações que as crianças estabelecem com seus machucados, ou como elas definem, seus ‘dodóis’. Nessas relações duas particularidades podem ser observadas: uma primeira é que as (...) crianças percebem o corpo como uma experiência contextualizada com o mundo social e material, ou seja, elas não percebem seus corpos separados dos espaços. Uma segunda particularidade é que as crianças trazem a possibilidade do tempo aión como uma aproximação à experiência, uma compreensão do tempo entrelaçado com pessoas, espaços, lugares e ações em que evidencia também relações, emoções e encontros. Dando seqüência as reflexões o texto pretende trazer para o diálogo também situações nas quais são tema entre as crianças as expressões dos sentimentos e das emoções e ainda situações que envolvem suas excreções como as ‘melecas’ e os ‘ranhos’ trazendo uma potencialidade para se pensar as relações entre corpo, infância e educação. A partir da compreensão de uma infância como experiência, como acontecimento que rompe com a história, pretende pensar indicações para uma infância da educação e não já apenas uma educação da infância. Essa necessidade de se pensar uma infância da educação, e não já apenas uma educação da infância parece simples, mas requer um outro ‘olhar’, requer ‘jogar fora’, ou pelo menos questionar, problematizar parte de nossa história para que seja possível pensar em condições de outras ordens, outros valores, enfim, outra educação. Ou seja, uma educação, em que se ‘olha’ não apenas os processos de desenvolvimento das crianças, mas também os seus conhecimentos, as suas produções, as suas manifestações, as suas preferências, as suas interações e particularmente as suas experiências. In the wake of the global financial crisis and harsh austerity policies, 15-M movement activists occupied public squares across the country, mobilized millions of Spanish citizens, gave rise to new hybrid parties such as Podemos, and inspired pro-democracy movements around the world.

Este artigo discute como os processos comunicacionais, em interface com perspectivas feministas do Sul Global, corroboram com a construção de um olhar crítico às formas de dominação e mais sensível às resistências e redes de solidariedades do que as noções feministas hegemônicas. Para isso, traçamos um panorama do modo como a colonialidade do saber se materializou na distribuição desigual entre as mulheres, estabelecendo uma sujeita do feminismo a partir da noção universalista partidária do movimento que toma o ocidente como sujeito (...) absoluto – reverberando diretamente na produção de conhecimento feminista. Discutimos ainda o papel da comunicação na construção, contestação e subversão de sentidos, tecendo reflexões a partir de inquietações de teóricas feministas descentralizadas. Por fim, argumentamos que a forma pela qual os processos comunicacionais, na afetação do comum, podem possibilitar a construção de novos sentidos, mais plurais e sensíveis às vozes anteriormente negligenciadas. Professionalization and political engagement are usually placed as incompatible in the case of journalism and the mainstream press, resulting in an identification of cultural resistance exclusively with alternative/amateur vehicles. I will use the concept of journalistic field as introduced by Pierre Bourdieu to review these assumptions and to discuss a form of political resistance that acts in one’s own area of knowledge, is not overtly political and whose effects are not immediately accountable for.Drawing examples from my research on two literary (...) newspapers published in the 1950s in Brazil and Uruguay, this paper will focus on the implications of didacticism for literary criticism as a genre of newswriting. The analysis of these newspapers will lead to a reflection on two main issues: a) the conflict between the professionalization and democratization of literature; and b) the definition of resistance as necessarily an action that is against something. The article will reconsider education in journalism as a form of resistance, taking into account its risks of becoming political indoctrination and commercial manipulation, but emphasizing its potential as a way of expanding access to literature. Thinking with language as a complex practice for educators, advocates, and researchers in early childhood education is a necessary gesture for countering the anti-intellectualism that designates early childhood education as a service providing custodial care. Vitalizing Vocabulary insists that early childhood education in Canada must unsettle our inherited demand for technocratic, instrumental, and accessible relations with language. At the collision of research and practice, Nicole Land and Cristina Delgado Vintimilla propose that cultivating playful, speculative, inventive, accountable, and answerable relations (...) with words, concepts, and language is a critical move toward broadening early childhood education's intellectual and interdisciplinary horizons. The book is organized into four actions that activate pedagogical grammars: reading, writing, citing, and speaking. Each section plays with the purposes of a glossary by proposing language that we would work to erase, reclaim, and introduce. This situates language as an ethical, political, and creative pedagogical process that puts specific relations, curricula, and subjectivities into motion. Vitalizing Vocabulary ultimately envisions a project of early childhood education where students, educators, pedagogists, researchers, community, and others share a common commitment to creating responsive, meaningful, ethical, and political pedagogies. O artigo discute a autenticidade do Dasein e o problema do determinismo no debate onto-historial de Heidegger. Contrapondo as diferentes e, por vezes, contraditórias noções sobre o tempo e história, busca-se questionar se, em sua fase tardia, o filósofo teria se tornado um determinista histórico. Resumo: O artigo desdobra algumas implicações decorrentes de uma análise ficcional em torno das artes neoliberais de governo. Nessa direção, articula os pressupostos das teorias biopolíticas da formação humana agenciadas pela entrada no Antropoceno, a fim de pensar a desabilitação do que Elizabeth Povinelli chama de imaginário do carbono e seus processos de marcação, distinção e desqualificação ontológica. Trata-se, portanto, de um ensaio especulativo produzido em torno do diagnóstico de um desmoronamento catastrófico da distinção fundamental da episteme moderna, a distinção (...) entre as ordens cosmológica e antropológica, sugerindo uma cartografia precária dos corpos ingovernáveis ancorada em uma sutil arte política: a arte de segurar o céu pelas diferenças. Essa arte almeja atravessar o abismo que historicamente separou um povo com filosofia em oposição aos povos com mito, construindo pontes que incitem a Filosofia da educação e seus praticantes a se situarem na equivocidade dos mundos e aí habitar. Altered bodies, ungovernable bodies: ethical-aesthetic cartographies to hold the sky through diferences: The article unfolds some implications arising from a fictional analysis around the neoliberal arts of government. In this sense, it articulates the presuppositions of the biopolitical theories of human formation that were introduced by the entry into the Anthropocene, in order to think about the disabling of what Elizabeth Povinelli calls the carbon imaginary and its processes of marking, distinction and ontological disqualification. The argument is a speculative essay produced around the diagnosis of a catastrophic collapse of the fundamental distinction of modern episteme, suggesting a precarious cartography of ungovernable bodies anchored in a subtle political art: art of holding the sky through the differences. This art aims to bridge the chasm that has historically separated a people with philosophy as opposed to people with myth, building bridges that incite the Philosophy of education and its practitioners to lie in the equivocity of worlds and dwell there. In Democracy against capitalism, Ellen Wood defends two important theses: capitalism inaugurates a new kind of exploitation and extortion of the working class that is not directly dependent on state extortion; this makes it possible for some political rights to be extended to a larger number of people through the establishment of “representative democracy”. On the other hand, workers' political participation is limited: by identifying democracy with political representation, the ruling classes have created an illusion of popular political participation that (...) is, in fact, extremely limited, or almost nil. In this article, we intend to show some of the main limits of representative democracy, and how this “democracy” atomizes citizens and keeps them away from effective political participation. For this, we will use other influential theorists such as Jean-Jacques Rousseau, Bernard Manin, Hanna Pitkin, Noam Chomsky. (shrink)

I claim that the increase in complexity in the trace of Paleolithic stone tools can be parsimoniously explained by postulating the emergence of effective mechanisms for the social transmission of representations. I propose that Paleolithic tools, similar to more contemporary tools, were subject to a process of evolution by artificial selection based on functionality.

El cristianismo incorpora la creación a partir de la nada para romper con la concepción antigua del mundo eterno, no creado. Sin embargo, los distintos filósofos de los primeros tiempos cristianos comprenden esta creación de diversas maneras. En este artículo daremos cuenta de la originalidad de la comprensión que realiza de esta fórmula Juan Escoto Eriúgena (s. IX), haciendo referencia a algunas de sus fuentes. Seguidamente daremos lugar al análisis de tres obras de historia de la filosofía de la Modernidad, (...) que supieron ser fuentes para el idealismo alemán, en lo referente a la presentación de este punto del pensamiento del autor medieval. Los tres historiadores de la filosofía, pertenecientes a diversas corrientes filosóficas, son J. J. Brucker (1696-1770), W. G. Tennemann (1761-1819) y T. A. Rixner (1766-1838). (shrink)

The growth in international trade in recent years necessitates a better understanding of customs and expectations in cross-cultural negotiations. While several researchers have sought to examine and detail the similarities and differences between select countries, their data have generally been obtained under neutral or unspecified negotiating conditions. However, issue importance, opponent (prowess, ethical reputation), and context (location, confederate awareness, urgency) can play a significant role in the use of negotiating tactics. This paper describes a study comparing the perceptions of one (...) hundred and forty-two current and future business professionals from two emerging trade partners, Brazil and the United States, regarding the appropriateness and likely use of five categories of negotiation tactics under seven challenging or unfavorable negotiating conditions commonly faced by negotiators. The results indicate an overall conditional effect for both attitudes (perceived appropriateness) and intentions (likelihood of use). In addition, while no significant difference in perceived appropriateness was found due to country, there were differences in likely use due to country for six conditions-behaviors. (shrink)

Drawing from enactivist theory, this paper examines how certain cases of transgenerational trauma manifest as Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder in the descendants of survivors who did not experience the event directly. It argues that psychopathology develops from an embodied form of vicarious memory, conveyed through mimetic capacities and emotional resonances that involve the transfer of emotional and behavioral patterns from parents to children, affecting their sense of self. Children’s reenactments of their parents' emotional states do not merely replay the parents' trauma (...) but are also perceived and integrated into the children’s life as their own. This, in turn, biases their sense-making, which is further reinforced by background emotions in the household. Over time, certain mnemonic features contribute to the persistence of the initial emotional load, such as the simplification of events in collective memory and the reliance of embodied vicarious memories on somatic markers, which also fuel PTSD development. Finally, the paper briefly explores the implications of embodiment for understanding mnemonic causality. (shrink)

The disease brought about by the SARS-CoV-2, COVID-19 coronavirus has had an unprecedented global impact. Confinement to control the outbreak may have mental health consequences for the most vulnerable in the population, including adolescents. This study aims to describe and analyze the relationships between the stress variables, Emotional Intelligence and the intention to use cannabis in healthy adolescents, before and after the end of the COVID-19 pandemic containment stage. A comparative correlational study was carried out with validated self-completed questionnaires through (...) an online platform. The sample is made up of adolescents aged 13–17 from two different schools in Ponferrada. The analysis of correlation and differences between the groups indicate that confinement has had effects on the mental health of the adolescents, specifically on the emotional manifestations of stress. Furthermore, significant gender differences were found for stress values and Emotional Intelligence. However, no differences have been found for cannabis use intention. (shrink)

La Comisión Nacional de la Verdad representó un hito en la producción de conocimiento sobre el período del régimen militar brasileño. En esta investigación, nos proponemos investigar el momento posterior a la publicación del Informe Final de esta comisión, qué están produciendo los investigadores brasileños de la Ciencia de la Información sobre este período y cuáles son los principales paradigmas observados en las investigaciones. Nuestro objetivo es abordar las potencialidades de los trabajos y de los informes de la Comisión Nacional (...) de la Verdad, considerando los efectos de la información en la producción y difusión de conocimientos científicos sobre la dictadura militar brasileña por parte de los investigadores de la Ciencia de la Información, e identificar los principales paradigmas observados en la literatura producida en esta área. Se trata de una investigación bibliográfica y documental, exploratoria y descriptiva, con un enfoque cuantitativo-cualitativo. Los resultados indican que el enfoque social es predominante en los trabajos analizados, lo que demuestra la tendencia contemporánea en las investigaciones desarrolladas en la Ciencia de la Información.
